\n(34) Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.<\/p>\n

Coming into grace has put a spotlight on this, and a number of verses, which heretofore I just accepted to mean what they said. My studies have expanded my thoughts considerable in this area and it is my hope to offer to you some insights that have come to me in the arena of what we\u2019ve termed as \u201crighteousness.\u201d Since my first book, Grace for Shame, I have been acutely aware of the issues surrounding shame and how grace has factored into its resolution. <\/p>\n

I recognize that what you are about to read and hear might run counter to all the doctrine which you have digested, however, meditate upon what I\u2019m offering to you here. Do the research for yourself; poke holes in it; eat the meat and spit out the bones; whatever method you\u2019ve previously employed is acceptable in evaluating this material. I\u2019m still working out the wrinkles as they appear to me also.<\/p>\n
