Today’s Veil to Pierce<\/strong><\/h3>\n

You have been taught to read the Bible\u2019s stories of suffering as moral lessons or divine tests.
\nThat reading is Maya wearing scriptural clothes.<\/p>\n

The false self turns every trial into evidence \u2014 evidence that God is distant, that you are being punished, or that you are not yet strong enough. It whispers that the eternal life revealed in the Passover lamb and the empty tomb is beautiful but somehow does not apply when real pain arrives. This veil keeps you searching the pages for reasons instead of resting in the Presence that meets you inside the pain. In our shared contemplations, this distortion echoes the disciples in the storm (Mark 4:38), crying \u201cTeacher, do you not care that we are perishing?\u201d \u2014 the same question the false self still asks when suffering comes.<\/p>\n

Grace does not give trials a moral.
\nIt gives trials a companion.<\/p>\n

Grace’s Revelatory Power<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Grace re-reads every biblical trial as a revelation of presence, not a riddle to solve. It does not explain Job\u2019s suffering or Joseph\u2019s pit or Paul\u2019s thorn. It simply stands with them and keeps repeating the same truth: \u201cYou are not alone. You have never been alone. The Life that conquered death is still alive in you \u2014 right here, in this ache.\u201d<\/p>\n

This power is steady and compassionate: it exposes the deceptive veil of \u201cthis must mean something bad about me,\u201d dissolving the illusion that pain is proof of separation. Through this, grace cultivates endurance: the false self\u2019s need to find the lesson fades, allowing the soul to rest in the presence that holds every tear without needing to justify it.<\/p>\n

Contemplative Depth<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Take one biblical story of suffering that has weighed on you \u2014 perhaps Job, the disciples in the boat, or Paul\u2019s thorn. Hold it without trying to extract its moral. Observe Maya\u2019s veil turning the story into a warning or a test. Invite grace to re-read it with you: in deep stillness, feel the shift \u2014 the search for meaning softens, presence arises, and a profound companionship emerges. As depth builds, sense the revelation: mental explanations dissolve, the heart rests in the same Love that met every sufferer, and unity infuses the trial. This practice uncovers layers: inherited interpretations release, emotions of confusion evolve into peace, and the soul experiences the biblical stories as living invitations to the same oneness revealed at Passover. Grace guides this with quiet authority, turning contemplation into a sacred re-reading, where Maya\u2019s veils of moralized suffering yield to the truth of non-dual oneness, present in every trial.<\/p>\n

When a trial arises and the mind begins searching for its biblical \u201creason,\u201d pause.
\nAsk yourself one quiet question:
\n\u201cAm I looking for a lesson from fear, or resting in the Life already given?\u201d<\/p>\n

Then breathe.
\nThe answer usually changes everything.<\/p>\n
