Today’s Veil to Pierce<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Sibling relationships carry some of the oldest stories.
\nThe veil of illusion we have called Maya loves those stories.
\nThe false self turns every sibling dynamic into a competition \u2014 who is more loved, more successful, more spiritual, more wounded. It whispers that there is not enough grace to go around, that someone must be the favored one and someone must be the overlooked. This veil creates the illusion that family love is a limited resource. In our reflections, this distortion echoes the older brother\u2019s outrage when the prodigal received the ring and robe (Luke 15:28-30) \u2014 the belief that grace given to another somehow diminishes what is given to me.<\/p>\n

Grace does not divide love.
\nIt multiplies it.<\/p>\n

Grace’s Revelatory Power<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Grace transforms sibling dynamics by revealing that there is no competition in the father\u2019s house. The same love that ran to the younger also waited patiently for the older. This power is equalizing and generous: grace exposes the deceptive veil of comparison and scarcity, dissolving the illusion that love must be earned or protected. Through this, grace restores relationship: the false self\u2019s competitive distortions fade, allowing sibling bonds to become living expressions of the oneness already awakened in the eternal pattern of Passover.<\/p>\n

Contemplative Depth<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Take one sibling relationship \u2014 blood or chosen \u2014 that still carries comparison or resentment.
\nNot to resolve it. Just to look at it.
\nFeel the veil tighten \u2014 the old scorekeeping, the quiet belief that someone got more, the assumption that love is limited. Then let grace do what it does best: nothing dramatic. Just a gentle turn of attention.<\/p>\n

You do not need to win the competition.
\nYou only need to notice that the same Life that rolled away the stone is already loving both of you \u2014 fully, without measure.<\/p>\n

Sibling dynamics are not a test.
\nThey are an invitation to stop resisting what is already true.<\/p>\n

Applying the Insight<\/strong><\/h3>\n

When sibling comparison or resentment arises, pause.
\nAsk yourself one quiet question:
\n\u201cAm I protecting love from fear, or resting in the Life already given?\u201d<\/p>\n

Then breathe.
\nThe answer usually changes everything.<\/p>\n
