Today’s Veil to Pierce<\/strong><\/h3>\n

You have been taught that disagreement means someone must be right and someone must be wrong.
\nThat teaching is the veil of illusion we have called Maya at its most relational.
\nThe false self turns every conflict into a battlefield where your worth is on the line. It whispers that if you do not defend your position, you will disappear. This veil creates the illusion that unity can only exist when everyone agrees. In our shared contemplations, this distortion echoes the older brother\u2019s outrage when the prodigal returned (Luke 15:28) \u2014 the belief that love must be fair before it can be celebrated.<\/p>\n

Grace does not pick sides in disagreements.
\nIt dissolves the need for sides.<\/p>\n

Grace’s Revelatory Power<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Grace meets disagreements by revealing the veil of illusion we have called Maya as the belief in \u201cus versus them.\u201d It does not force agreement. It simply reminds you that the same Life that rose on Easter morning is alive in both of you. This power is humble and steady: grace exposes the illusion that relationship requires victory, dissolving the need to be right so that connection can be restored. Through this, grace restores relationship: the false self\u2019s defensive distortions fade, allowing disagreements to become another place where the eternal pattern of Passover \u2014 the movement from illusion to Life \u2014 can be lived.<\/p>\n

Contemplative Depth<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Take one current disagreement in a relationship.
\nNot to win it. Just to look at it.
\nFeel the veil tighten \u2014 the subtle need to be right, the quiet fear that losing the argument means losing value. Then let grace do what it does best: nothing dramatic. Just a gentle turn of attention.<\/p>\n

You do not need to defend your position to be loved.
\nYou only need to notice that the same Life that rolled away the stone is already present in both of you \u2014 right now, in this ordinary disagreement.<\/p>\n

Disagreement is not a test.
\nIt is an invitation to stop resisting what is already true.<\/p>\n

Applying the Insight<\/strong><\/h3>\n

When a disagreement arises and the old need to be right begins, pause.
\nAsk yourself one quiet question:
\n\u201cAm I defending from fear, or resting in the Life already given?\u201d<\/p>\n

Then breathe.
\nThe answer usually changes everything.<\/p>\n
