Day 5: Grace Toward Strangers<\/h2>\n

Today’s Veil to Pierce<\/strong><\/h3>\n

You have been taught that strangers are none of your concern.
\nThat teaching is the veil of illusion we have called Maya at its most isolating.<\/p>\n

The false self draws a tight circle around \u201cmy people\u201d and leaves everyone else outside. It whispers that you do not have enough love, time, or grace to extend beyond your circle. This veil creates the illusion that the eternal life unveiled in the Passover lamb stops at the edge of your comfort zone. In our reflections, this distortion echoes the priest and Levite passing by the wounded man on the road to Jericho (Luke 10:31-32) \u2014 the belief that some people are not your responsibility.<\/p>\n

Grace does not draw circles.
\nIt erases them.<\/p>\n

Grace’s Revelatory Power<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Grace extends to strangers as naturally as it extended to the prodigal. It does not ask for credentials or shared history. It simply sees another expression of the same Life that rose on Easter morning. This power is expansive and humbling: grace exposes the deceptive veil of \u201cthey are not my problem,\u201d dissolving the illusion that love has limits. Through this, grace restores connection: the false self\u2019s tribal distortions fade, allowing strangers to become another place where the eternal pattern of Passover \u2014 the movement from illusion to Life \u2014 can be lived.<\/p>\n

Contemplative Depth<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Take one stranger you encountered recently \u2014 someone you passed without truly seeing.
\nNot to analyze it. Just to look at it.
\nFeel the veil tighten \u2014 the subtle dismissal, the quiet assumption that they are not your concern. Then let grace do what it does best: nothing dramatic. Just a gentle turn of attention.<\/p>\n

You do not need to fix their life.
\nYou only need to notice that the same Life that rolled away the stone is already present in them \u2014 right now, in this ordinary stranger.<\/p>\n

The stranger is not an outsider.
\nIt is an invitation to stop resisting what is already true.<\/p>\n

Applying the Insight<\/strong><\/h3>\n

When you encounter a stranger and the old dismissal begins, pause.
\nAsk yourself one quiet question:
\n\u201cAm I protecting my circle from fear, or resting in the Life already given?\u201d<\/p>\n

Then breathe.
\nThe answer usually changes everything.<\/p>\n

Daily Reflection Prompt<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Choose one stranger from your day. Sit with them in your mind for five minutes without trying to solve anything. Notice where the veil tightens. Then ask: What if the eternal pattern of Passover is already present in them too? Write what arises.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
