The veil has many hooks to deal with.
M6:Week 2: Grace Releasing Old Patterns
Day 7: Grace Fully Released
Today’s Veil to Pierce
As we close Week 22, you may feel the tension of old patterns still trying to hold on.
That tension is the final veil of illusion we have called Maya making its last stand.
The false self wants you to believe that some patterns are too deep, some wounds too old, some fears too justified to ever fully release. This veil creates the illusion that partial freedom is the best you can hope for. In our shared contemplations, this distortion echoes the Israelites standing at the Jordan River, wondering if the Promised Land was really for them.
Grace does not ask for perfect release.
It invites you into complete freedom.
Grace’s Revelatory Power
Grace leads into full release by revealing that the eternal pattern of Passover is total deliverance. You do not leave Egypt with some chains still attached. The resurrection Life does not rise halfway. This power is thorough and kind: grace exposes the last deceptive veil of “this is just how I am,” dissolving the illusion that any old pattern is stronger than the Life that conquered death. Through this, grace restores wholeness: the false self’s final resistance fades, allowing you to stand as one fully released into the new life.
Contemplative Depth
Take the old patterns this week has surfaced — identities, resentments, control, fear.
Not to conquer them all at once. Just to hold them openly.
Feel the veil tighten one last time — the pull to keep at least one chain, the fear of what full release might mean. Then let grace do what it does best: nothing dramatic. Just a gentle turn of attention.
You do not need to release everything perfectly today.
You only need to notice that the same Life that rolled away the stone has already broken every chain — right now, in this moment.
Full release is not loss.
It is an invitation to stop resisting what is already true.
Applying the Insight
When any old pattern tries to reclaim you, pause.
Ask yourself one quiet question:
“Am I holding onto this from fear, or resting in the Life already given?”
Then breathe.
The answer usually changes everything.
Daily Reflection Prompt
Sit with the old patterns named this week for five minutes. Notice where the veil still tightens. Then ask: What if the eternal pattern of Passover has already set me fully free? Write what arises.
