The veil has many hooks to deal with.
M6:Week 1: Grace Embodying the New Life
Day 7: Grace Fully Embodied
Today’s Veil to Pierce
As we close Week 21, you may feel the gap between the new life grace describes and how you still live.
That gap is the final veil of illusion we have called Maya trying to hold its ground.
The false self wants you to believe that embodying the new life is a future goal rather than a present reality. It whispers that you are not there yet. This veil creates the illusion that the resurrection Life is something you must achieve. In our shared contemplations, this distortion echoes the disciples who still scattered in fear even after seeing the risen Christ.
Grace does not call you to become something new.
It calls you to embody what is already true.
Grace’s Revelatory Power
Grace fully embodied reveals that the eternal pattern of Passover is not a distant destination but a present reality. The same Life that rolled away the stone now lives in your ordinary days, small obediences, habits, rest, creativity, and delight. This power is integrative and whole: grace exposes the last deceptive veil of “I am not there yet,” dissolving the illusion that the new life is future tense. Through this, grace restores congruence: the false self’s gap between belief and practice fades, allowing the resurrection Life to be expressed through every part of you — right now, as you are.
Contemplative Depth
Take the whole week — ordinary days, small steps, habits, rest, creativity, delight.
Not to evaluate your progress. Just to hold it all.
Feel the veil tighten one last time — the sense that you are not quite there, the pressure to do more. Then let grace do what it does best: nothing dramatic. Just a gentle turn of attention.
You do not need to close the gap by effort.
You only need to notice that the same Life that rolled away the stone is already embodied in you — right now, in this ordinary week.
The new life is not a future achievement.
It is an invitation to stop resisting what is already true.
Applying the Insight
When the gap between belief and daily life feels wide, pause.
Ask yourself one quiet question:
“Am I trying to achieve the new life from fear, or resting in the Life already given?”
Then breathe.
The answer usually changes everything.
Daily Reflection Prompt
Sit with the entire week for five minutes. Notice where the veil still tightens. Then ask: What if the eternal pattern of Passover is already fully embodied in my ordinary life? Write what arises.
