The veil has many hooks to deal with.
M7:Week 2: Grace Revealing Oneness
Day 2: Grace in Unified Seeing
Today’s Veil to Pierce
You have been taught to see yourself as separate from God and others.
That teaching is the veil of illusion at its most blinding.
The false self divides reality into “me” and “God,” “me” and “them,” subject and object. It whispers that this separation is normal and necessary. This veil creates the illusion that oneness is a mystical experience rather than the ground of all being. In our reflections, this distortion echoes Thomas needing to touch the wounds before he could declare “My Lord and my God.”
Grace does not give you new eyes to see God.
It removes the veil so you can see what has always been.
Grace’s Revelatory Power
Grace awakens unified seeing through the Passover revelation of already-given freedom. The same Life that rolled away the stone is the Life in which you live and move and have your being. This power is clarifying and whole: grace exposes the deceptive veil of “I am separate,” dissolving the illusion that duality is the truth. Through this, grace restores true sight: the false self’s divided vision fades, allowing you to see God in all things and all things in God.
Contemplative Depth
Take one ordinary thing or person before you right now.
Not to spiritualize it. Just to see it.
Feel the veil tighten — the old sense of separation, the mental labeling, the assumption that you are here and God is elsewhere. Then let grace do what it does best: nothing dramatic. Just a gentle turn of attention.
You do not need to work to see God.
You only need to notice that the Passover revelation of already-given freedom has already united all things — right now, in this simple moment.
Unified seeing is not mystical effort.
It is an invitation to stop resisting what is already true.
Applying the Insight
When the old divided seeing returns and separation feels real, pause.
Ask yourself one quiet question:
“Am I viewing this through the veil from fear, or resting in the Life already given?”
Then breathe.
The answer usually changes everything.
Daily Reflection Prompt
Choose one ordinary thing or person today. Sit with it for five minutes without dividing. Notice where the veil tightens. Then ask: What if the Passover revelation of already-given freedom has already made us one? Write what arises.
