The veil has many hooks to deal with.
M7:Week 2: Grace Revealing Oneness
Day 3: Grace in Unified Heart
Today’s Veil to Pierce
You have been taught that your heart is divided — part belonging to God, part still tied to the world.
That teaching is the veil of illusion at its most fracturing.
The false self keeps an inner ledger of loyalties, pulling you between sacred and secular, spirit and flesh. It whispers that wholeness requires constant sorting and choosing. This veil creates the illusion that your heart is a battlefield rather than a dwelling place. In our shared contemplations, this distortion echoes the rich young ruler whose heart was divided between following Jesus and holding onto his possessions.
Grace does not call you to unify your own heart.
It reveals the heart that has always been one.
Grace’s Revelatory Power
Grace unifies the heart through the Passover revelation of already-given freedom. Grace was anchored before the beginning of time. The same Life that rolled away the stone now lives as the single, undivided center of your being. This power is healing and whole: grace exposes the deceptive veil of “my heart is divided,” dissolving the illusion that you must reconcile opposing parts. Through this, grace restores inner peace: the false self’s inner conflict fades, allowing your heart to rest in the oneness already true.
Contemplative Depth
Take one area where your heart still feels pulled in different directions.
Not to resolve the tension. Just to look at it.
Feel the veil tighten — the inner debate, the subtle guilt, the assumption that you must choose sides. Then let grace do what it does best: nothing dramatic. Just a gentle turn of attention.
You do not need to unify your heart through effort.
You only need to notice that the Passover revelation of already-given freedom has already made your heart one — right now, in this inner tension.
A unified heart is not achieved.
It is an invitation to stop resisting what is already true.
Applying the Insight
When inner division arises and the old sorting begins, pause.
Ask yourself one quiet question:
“Am I trying to unify my heart from fear, or resting in the Life already given?”
Then breathe.
The answer usually changes everything.
Daily Reflection Prompt
Choose one area of inner division. Sit with it for five minutes without trying to resolve it. Notice where the veil tightens. Then ask: What if the Passover revelation of already-given freedom has already unified my heart here? Write what arises.
